As a gospel preaching and soul winning organization, we plant churches in areas where we find the need for a new church to assist new believers in fellowship and discipleship. We are praying to be able to plant 3000 churches or more in the next 10 years!

TRAINING

Through the Word and Spirit Seminary, 206 men and women have been trained since 2000 from Kenya, Uganda, & Tanzania. We need to upgrade the training to the degree level and beyond. In order to do this, we are planning to construct Africa World Missions Training Center in Kampala, Uganda!

We believe if the church in Africa is to grow from strength to strength for generations to come, then training must be a priority!

Our churches are mostly in rural villages. Pastors need bicycles and motorbikes. District church leaders need pickup vehicles to visit churches and carry sound systems and teams for evangelism and church planting.

CRUSADES

Evangelism is the major thrust of our ministry. We go out preaching in various places every week. We train and encourage every local church to go out in its area of jurisdiction. They reach people and hold Open Air Meetings involving leaders and believers.

We encourage every district to have district Crusade Teams led by the Senior Pastor and overseer in the district. This is done on a monthly basis in every district of Uganda.

There is a National Crusade Team of 40 people led by Patrick and Felister. This team holds crusades in large towns or cities every month. This team is responsible for training other churches and district teams in effective evangelism and church planting.

CHURCH CONSTRUCTION:

There is a great need to construct buildings where people gather to worship and learn God’s Word. Also, church construction is a public way of evangelism – churches with buildings grow regularly and demonstrate the continued existence of the church in a particular area.

KAMPALA
Bishop Baligasima planted the new headquarters of Magada Church in Kampala in April, 2007 which currently gathers 1200 members and seeks to grow in the next five years to 10,000 to 20,000 members.

MEDIA

This church and property are the proposed future site for the Magada Cathedral and Discipleship Mission Training Center/TV/Radio Broadcasting to reach East Africa with the gospel. FM radio transmitters covering 150 km - 300 km.
